After working on my lawn this week, there is no doubt in my mind that fall has arrived! I had a load of magnolia leaves in my yard, as proof of the change in seasons. Even worse than the leaves are those seedpods that also fall from the tree, but are difficult to pick up with the mower. Fortunately, we do not have a lot of trees at our house. The pines in the back corner of our yard are allowed to drop their needles undisturbed. So, there is not much raking to do at home. We

It seems odd to be writing about “Growing Up on Dump Ground Road” after having just traveled down that very road. Sandy and I had an eventful, as wells as an enjoyable, time in Texas. We are grateful for the opportunity to visit with her mother and two of her brothers, while we were in Waco.
